Reports and speculations about the upcoming Huawei Honor 7 were mostly about its specs and features, hence nothing has been said about the pricing — until today, that is. Thankfully, a new leak finally gives consumers an idea on just how big the price tag the flagship bears. 

The picture appears to be a teaser image made by Huawei with the words "Honor 7 is coming," with text at the bottom that reads "available from $599." This means that the standard version of the metal-plated smartphone will have that price (CNY 3700 or £377) and it will only go up from there. 

In another leaked image, which was styled to look like a fingerprint scanner, implies that the device will be employing the predominant biometric technology, putting it on par with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. 

There are also speculations that the device will come in two sizes. The first one will sport a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display. The other size, unfortunately, has not been mentioned. The handset may also use the 64-bit octa-core Huawei Kirin 935 chipset. 

Other specs include 3 GB RAM for the standard version and 4 GB RAM for the premium or special edition. The former is said to offer up to 16 GB storage and the latter, being the more powerful one, will give 64 GB to users for storing files, apps, and games. 

The Huawei Honor 7 will apparently sport a 13-megapixel shooter on the back complete with optical image stabilization and LED flash to assist users in capturing great photos. The device is said to be equipped with a massive 3280 mAh battery and will be furnished with Android 5.1 Lollipop, which will be juxtaposed with Huawei's Emotion UI 3.1.

Huawei Honor 7 will be released in China on June 30.
