Huawei's Honor 7 had its very first flash sale in China on July 7, and the sales have been very impressive. According to a report from Android Authority, the device rapidly sold out in just a couple of minutes.

The China-made Honor 7 was offered for sale and all 200,000 units were sold like hotcakes. Three models--all equally sold out--were offered: the base model, the 4G model and one that is compatible with all networks.

The base model has an internal storage capacity of 16GB and LTE, and was sold for 1999 Yuan or $322. The "mid model" is a dual-SIM edition and was sold for 2199 Yuan or $354. A top of the line model has an internal storage capacity of 64GB and was sold at 2499 Yuan or $402.

Huawei Honor 7's base model features a Full HD display measured at 5.2 inches, 3GB RAM, 64-bit Kirin 935 chip, and 16GB internal storage, as reported in iDigitalTimes.

The base model is powered by a 3,100mAh battery, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and LTE Cat 6 connectivities. The device also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. As for the camera, Honor 7 features 20 megapixels with f/2.0 aperture.

The camera comes with a "phase detection autofocus," which allows users to focus on objects in only 0.1 seconds. The 8-megapixel front camera has fixed focus and a f/2.4 aperture.

For a device that offers impressive features, Honor 7 can be considered a decent buy. The handset carries specs, which serve as a "mini version" of the Ascend Mate 7 phablet that went popular last year, reports Android Authority.

The next flash sale in China for Honor 7 will be on July 14. The affordable Huawei handset is not expected to reach smartphone markets in the U.S.
