Huawei Mate 8 recently passed by the Chinese certification agency 3C Quality Certification, which means that it won't be long before the device dazzles all of tech world. Unfortunately, there isn't much to take away from its visit there.

There are a couple of new details picked up from there still. It was revealed that the upcoming handset will be quick to juice up, with fast charging capabilities integrated in it. The handset was also listed to come in three variants, each to be made unique to the three major Chinese telecom companies.

While the listing of the Huawei Mate 8 on 3C was a bit short on details, a benchmark listing of the heavyweight device had a lot to show off about the smartphone. In an AnTuTu benchmark test, the Huawei offering driven by a Kirin 950 processor scored an eye-popping 89,630 points.

The handset easily dominated top-tier phones like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the S6 and definitely gave the Exynos 7420 processor in those handsets, which is deemed the most powerful there is in the field, a run for its money.

This makes the Huawei Mate 8 an exciting the device to pick up. Previous leaks also hinted that it will be indeed of formidable makings. It is expected to come in a 6-inch Quad HD display and offer 3 GB and 4 GB RAM configurations for its 32-GB and 64-GB variants respectively.

The sizeable handset is said to sport a 13-MP rear-facing camera as well as an 8-MP front-facing shooter. It is expected to feature a fingerprint sensor while some reports suggest that it will also come with a feature that works similarly like Apple's 3D Touch.

Huawei Mate 8 is expected to be officially unveiled by its China-based maker on Nov. 26. That's two weeks away, which could allow for more leaks and reports about the exciting new handset.
