Over the past few weeks, Huawei has continually been trying to build up the hype for the launch of its new flagship phablet device, the Huawei Mate 9.

This had been achieved through various teasers and tweets that slowly showcased the different aspects of the device that users and technophiles should be excited about.

The company has already confirmed that it was going to be launching their new device during a special launch event that will be held in Munich, Germany on Thursday, Nov. 3. Next month's launch event will apparently be held just for the device's unveiling.

According to the teasers that the company has thus far released, the brand new Huawei Mate 9 will be one of the most powerful devices that the company has ever offered.

The Mate 9 has been confirmed to be coming with their very own Kirin 960 chipset. Compared to its predecessor — the Kirin 950  the next gen processor will be pushing the boundaries of graphics performance by adding a whopping 180% improvement over the older chip.

It also nets an 18% improvement of processing performance as well. The brand new chip will be using the newer Cortex-A73 cores while also utilizing an Octa-core ARM Mali-G71 GPU.

Aside from the blazing fast new CPU and GPU, the Mate 9 will also be equipped with a new Leica-branded dual camera setup, which features a 4X optical zoom capability. The particular feature is, of course, something that Huawei has been heavily marketing for the device as it apparently provides a more spectacular performance compared to other mobile phone cameras in the market.

The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be priced at a rather steep $1,300 for its top-of-the-line variant. The device is expected to be coming in two screen size variants, which includes a Pro version with a 5.9-inch curved QHD display and a smaller Full HD display model.
