Google is set to introduce Huawei Nexus phablet, along with the new LG Nexus 5 at a San Francisco event this Sept. 29, according to several reports.

Huawei Nexus phablet is said to be a better version of last year's Nexus phablet manufactured by Motorola.

GSM reported that the Nexus phablet will be the first from Huawei, which clearly wants its brand to be recognized more.

As for the pricing, GSM Arena's report did not mention any details, but what it mentioned was the rumored release date, as aforementioned, which signifies that the day will be a significant one for Google.

In a July report from GSM Arena, there were also live photos of how the next Nexus phablet will look like.

The photos showcased that the device's back offers a raise ridge where the camera will be housed, and on the metal back, a round sensor for fingerprint can also be found.

Nexus 6 phablet will have a measurement of 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6 millimeters, but the device's thickness should increase to 8.5 millimeters on the part where the camera will be.

On the front side, two speakers are placed side by side of the QHD display that has 1440 x 2560 resolution. The images provided did not give a clear view of the USB Type-C port but it can be found on the bottom part of the phone, as stated in the report.

More leaked images from TechGadgetsz were released and it revealed that the device will have a 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM, contrary to previous reports that stated it will have a 4 GB RAM.

Nexus phablet will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 819 processor as well.

Meanwhile in related news, the current Nexus 6 has dropped its $499 price to $349 at Amazon, according to ExtremeTech.

Could this signify truth in the rumored release date? It's expected that more information will be released in the coming days before the rumored Sept. 29 release.
