While Huawei has just announced its newest flagship, the Mate 9, the tech maker is reportedly already hard at work for its other flagship lineup.

Reportedly, the specs for the Huawei P9 follow-up, the P10, have already leaked online. A supposed GFXBench specs list is circulating, outlining what fans can expect from the upcoming flagship. While the document did not directly mention the P10, the leaked image points out an unnamed Huawei device with the code LON-L29. This may be an indirect hint as the current-gen P9 is has the model number LON-L19.

According to the supposed specs list, the Huawei P10 will have a 5.5-inch display with QHD resolution. Under the hood, the device will feature the Kirin 960 chipset that has been launched together with the Mate 9. The new processor will supposedly be paired with 6 GB of RAM, as well as 256 GB of onboard storage.

The leaked image also lists the P10 as having an 11-megapixel main camera. Since the Mate 9 launched with a new dual-cam setup, it is highly possible that a watered-down version of the Leica co-engineered optics will make it to the P10, since its predecessor also featured a dual-cam assembly. The listing also states an 8-megapixel selfie shooter at the front.

The Huawei P10 is also likely to come out with Android Nougat 7.1.1 right out of the box since it will be a 2017 release. Google has already mentioned that the major update for the Android platform will come out by December, so an early 2017 roll-out for non-Nexus and non-Pixel devices are expected.

As to when fans can expect from the new Huawei P10, it is possible that the tech maker will follow a year-long cycle for a follow-up release, with a Q1 2017 debut for the new flagship. The current-gen P9 has been released last April.

More news about the upcoming handset should come out in the coming months.
