Huawei P8 And P8 Lite specs leaked ahead of April 15 reveal

Two new handsets from Huawei, the Huawei P8 and P8 Lite are expected to be officially unveiled this coming Wednesday, April 15 and for people who want to take a gander on what the devices look like, leaked press images have already come out in the open.

With the photos out in the open then it may be the best time to check out the technical specs instead.

With regards to the Huawei P8, the device will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display and will run on a Kirin 935 chipset. It will also come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

The Huawei P8 comes with a 13MP rear camera while a 5MP camera will also be present up front. The P8 will rely on a 2500 mAh battery and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI.

With regards to pricing, the Huawei P8 will reportedly retail for about $480. There will be a Platinum Edition as well, something coated with Sapphire glass on the front and back. This special edition will cost more, reportedly above the $800 mark.

With regards to the Huawei P8 Lite, the device will come with somehow toned down specs.

The Huawei P8 Lite will come with smaller display (5-inch) and lower resolution (720p) display. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz Kirin 620 processor backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It will feature the same 13MP back camera and 5MP front-facing camera as well.

The P8 Lite will rely on a 2,200 mAh battery and make use of Android 5.0 Lollipop with Emotion UI as well.
