More and more leaks paint a picture of the purported Huawei P9. A new leaked specs sheet ultimately confirmed that the much-awaited smartphone will boast a dual camera setup, which was also suggested in photos that made the rounds back in October.

That time, a couple of images featuring three cut-outs for the device's camera surfaced. It was readily assumed that the first two were for the cameras itself while the second one was for the LED flash of the shooter.

Apart from the possibility that the Huawei P9 will get a dual camera setup, the report also suggested that it will don a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display. A Kirin 950 processor, the latest and most powerful in its clan, will hum under its hood as 4 GB RAM assists.

Interestingly, the smartphone is rumored to get a bigger, higher-end counterpart called Huawei P9 Delux, which will come in a massive 6.2-inch Quad HD display, the same redoubtable Kirin chipset and 4 GB RAM. It should also feature the said dual camera setup.

The bigger P9 sibling is also expected to have Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and a 64-GB storage space. It won't be a surprise if the standard version of the smartphone will also get the same software and the same amount of room for files, apps and games.

As for the release date of the Huawei P9, a very recent report hinted that Huawei has prepared a timely schedule to release the follow-up to the Huawei P8, which was launched in April this year. It is being said the China-based company will lift the veil off the device in March.

With the purported outing drawing nearer, users should hear more, hopefully official details about the flagship. While Huawei itself is yet to confirm the device's existence, this might change as 2016 steps in.
