PC owners better prepare their hardware for a graphical showdown, as the system requirements for battle royale game "Hunt: Showdown" have been revealed as the game slides into early access.

As usual, the system requirements for every game is split into two categories, minimum and recommended, where the former is required to be able to run the game at all, while the latter is preferred in order to see the game in full graphical details. "Hunt: Showdown" is no exception to this based on the announcement of its publisher and developer Crytek, known for their graphically demanding but gorgeous games.

For the minimum system requirements, the game will require a 64-bit Windows operating system (OS) which is at least Windows 7, a central processing unit (CPU) of Intel Core i5 running at 2.7 GHz (6th Generation) or Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Ryzen 3 1200. This should be paired with 8 gigabytes (GB) or system random-access memory (RAM) along with a graphics processing unit (GPU) of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI or AMD Radeon R9 370. Crytek did not specify what resolution or graphics settings these can handle though most likely 720p at the lowest settings.

As for the recommended system requirements, players will need at least a 64-bit Windows 10 OS, a CPU of Intel Core i5 running at 3.2 GHz (6th Generation) or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 12GB or system RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 390X. Again, Crytek did not specify which resolution or settings but it might be 1080p with High graphics settings as per the standard of other game's system requirements.

The game will also require 20 GB of free hard drive space for installation, as well as constant internet connection, preferably broadband to eliminate connectivity problems since "Hunt: Showdown" is an online multiplayer game which is demanding on the network due to its battle royale format. For those interested in trying it out, the game is in early access right now and is available through Steam.
