It looks like fans have a much longer wait ahead of them for the highly anticipated "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361. Creator Yoshihiro Togashi is yet to continue the manga due to health issues.

The series is currently on indefinite hiatus as Togashi takes a break due to serious back pain. This was also the reason behind the manga's break in 2014.

The artist took a year-long time away back then due to his health condition, which did not allow him to work long hours to draw, and returned a year later – September 2015 – to continue "Hunter x Hunter."

There's no word on when Togashi will return for chapter 361 though. It has been a couple of months since the previous chapter was released.

Due to the lack of updates, some reports are claiming that the artist was fired by Shueisha, who will reportedly hire new writers who will instead be supervised by Togashi. There are even rumors that he is unhappy about the ideas that these writers give him.

There is no information to corroborate these reports, but if they are accurate, fans will likely be upset about these massive changes. Having followed the "Hunter x Hunter" manga for years, it will come as a little surprise to see avid readers be skeptical and even enraged about it.

Togashi's story is definitely one of the most famous and followed out there. Shueisha and the fans have survived the initial hiatus (the manga was even in frequent hiatus in 2006), and this likely won't be any different. Fans have stuck around despite the long wait.

"Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 will continue the story of Kurapika's mission to get to the bottom of the murders in the Black Whale. In his efforts, he comes across a Nen beast, which he intends to fight.

It goes without saying that "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361 has no release date yet.
