Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
-John 14:6-7

Jesus says that He is the way, the truth and the life. He was sent here to show us the original image of man; a man without sin. Man fell away to sin and turned his back on God, but through Christ, God's greatest revelation to the world, man can once again go to God.

If we want to know God we must know Jesus, for He is the only way 'fallen man' can once again be reconciled with God.

So how can we know God? Jesus clearly tells us: "If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well." So we must know Christ, we must know His life and follow Him. We must always seek Christ, and have the thirst to know Him more; for it is through Him that we can go to the Father God, and truly feel the peace, rest and love that God wants to give us.

"From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
If we have seen Christ, and by see I mean know, recognise and accept Him as the Son of God, then we have seen God.

So what is the conclusion? If you truly seek God and want to know God - truly feel Him with your whole heart and soul - then you must seek Jesus Christ! You must know Him and follow Him, for He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
