The television show "Imposters" had finished airing in April earlier this year, and is already renewed for a second season that is expected to air next year. Despite the wait, news regarding the plot and details from its production have already been revealed in some reports, which can probably satiate fans' curiosity regarding what they can expect for season 2.

In a report by Deadline, it has already been confirmed that Uma Thurman will be reprising her role as con artist Lenny Cohen. Thurman is arguably the biggest celebrity name in the cast's lineup. Lenny is an enigmatic and dangerous chameleon who is now being pursued by multiple parties, as per the events of the first season. Lenny is also a murderer, which means that she possesses the complete package that is a perfect fit for her life of crime.

According to International Business Times, Thurman's return should not come as a shock to audiences of the television show, since the Doctor, played by Ray Proscia, contacted her in the final scene of the first season. The Doctor tasked Lenny to murder the main cast members, which should make for a very exciting and thrilling second season. Given the premise, it could be surmised that Thurman will be appearing on more episodes this time around.

The co-creator of the series, Adam Brooks, has been reported to be close friends with Thurman, which probably helped her land the role in "Imposters" in the first place. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Brooks revealed that he had been waiting for the right project for him and Thurman to work together. Given the previous femme fatale roles that Thurman has played in the past, Brooks had thought that she could be perfect for the role of Lenny.

Not only will the second season be more exciting, it will also give audiences a better understanding behind the characters' motivations for living a life of crime. According to TV Line, Maddie, played by Inbar Lavi, will have her backstory revealed in season 2. It is expected that the same will occur for the other characters on the show while they try to figure out how to fix the mess that they are currently in.

"Imposters" season 2 is expected to premiere in 2018 on Bravo.
