After director Brad Bird announced that he have started writing the script for "The Incredibles 2," recent reports claim that the script was finally done and the highly anticipated sequel will start rolling in the later part of the year.

Bird, who was recently seen promoting his latest film "Tomorrowland – A World Beyond" in different media outfits, offered a vague glimpse about how would tackle the plot of the sequel for his hit 2004 animated superhero movie.

In an interview with Little White Lies, Bird was asked about his plans to make the next Incredibles movie exciting for the viewers who first saw the film more than a decade ago, and to entice the new generation of moviegoers who would watch it upon release.

The director said, "I think that the greatest special effect is caring about a character. A lot of movies seem to forget that, and they bring out a lot of fireballs and then wonder why the fireballs don't have that much impact, no matter how loud and how big they are. But the truth is that the fireball isn't that exciting unless you care about the person running from it."

He also added that he sees each movie that he makes as a kind of a risk, and he is willing to make the same mistakes that he normally do and hopes to spot them instantly to make the necessary corrections. Bird also claimed he loves all the characters and is very excited to work on them again.

Meanwhile, Master Herald reported the possible plot for the upcoming The Incredibles 2 movie from Pixar, saying that Bob and Helen Parr, also known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, decided not to be too active with their crime fighting ways and allow their two teenage kids Violet and Dash to take over their work for them.

But Mr. and Mrs. Incredibles are having a hard time with their youngest child Jack-Jack, who is challenged with controlling his powers. Because of that, he becomes withdrawn and a rebel within the family.

Also, it is reported that Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Lucious Best aka Frozone in the upcoming sequel.

The release date of The Incredibles 2 is still unannounced at the moment.
