Pixar's favorite superhero family will be coming back in 2018, and the youngest member of the family will now be displaying his superpowers.

A recently released trailer showed Jack-Jack, the infant child from the first film, being able to use his superpowers, which include including invisibility, teleportation, and laser vision, among others. Since much of the first movie highlighted the family's dynamics, not on Jack Jack's powers, fans are understandably excited about the upcoming film. The clip then showed Bob getting excited while carrying the baby, saying, "You have powers!"

Aside from highlighting the infant's powers, the new installment to the family superhero franchise will reportedly focus on the adventures of Helen Parr, a.k.a. Elastigirl (voiced by Holly Hunter). Bob Parr, a.k.a Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T. Nelson), on the other hand, will be taking over babysitting duties, as hinted by the trailer. Their other children, Violet (voiced by Sarah Vowell) and Dashiell (voiced by Huck Milner), will also be coming back in the sequel.

In addition, "Incredibles 2," has been teased as something that was "taken to another level," so fans could expect better animation. "The technology has gotten so much better; we can get them close to what we wanted to do in the [original]. It's like driving a better car," director Brad Bird said during D23 event in July this year.

The original film was known for the iconic characters Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) and Edna Mode (Bird), who will also be reprised for this installment. Aside from the recurring cast members, "Better Call Saul" actor Bob Odenkirk and "Get Out" actress Catherine Keener were added, but their respective roles have not yet been revealed. However, since rumors say that the upcoming new installment will feature even more superheroes, fans can expect new additions to take on superhero roles.

Pixar's "Incredibles 2" hits theaters on June 15, 2018.
