The Indiana Pacers are heading to the Quicken Loans Arena this Thursday aiming to keep their preseason winning streak alive when they play against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After dropping their preseason opener against the New Orleans Pelicans (110–105), the Pacers have been on a roll winning their next three games beating the Detroit Pistons twice (115–112, 101–97) and the Orlando Magic (97–92).

In their most recent win last Tuesday, which was in their second matchup against Detroit, point guard Toney Douglas led the charge scoring 15 points, with three rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block.

Fellow playmaker George Hill contributed 14 points, two rebounds, three steals, and one block in the victory.

Forward Paul George and guard Glenn Robinson III added 13 points each to help Indiana.

George is bouncing back very well from injury and is performing great this preseason, especially on offense.

If Cavaliers star LeBron James will be playing Thursday, George will face a familiar rival in the four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) whom he played against in two Eastern Conference Finals in the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons.

George has been in matchup with James when the latter was still playing for the Miami Heat and their teams were facing each other in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, it is uncertain if James will be playing against the Pacers since in their fourth consecutive loss of the preseason against the Milwaukee Bucks (110–101) last Tuesday, he was not feeling well and was sent home.

The Cavs are 0–4 in the preseason and along with losing to the Bucks, they were also defeated by the Atlanta Hawks (98–96), Philadelphia 76ers (115–114), and the Memphis Grizzlies (91–81).

In their recent setback against Milwaukee, Cleveland was paced by veteran playmaker Mo Williams who tallied 18 points, also having six rebounds, and four assists.

Helping Williams in scoring is fellow offseason signing and veteran forward Richard Jefferson who recorded 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
