Indiana Pacers vs Houston Rockets live stream: Watch NBA 2016 basketball online (Game preview)

The Indiana Pacers are on a two-game winning streak and are aiming to extend it to three when they hit the road today and take on the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. 

Indiana is currently on a four-game road trip and before ending it against the Rockets, defeated the Orlando Magic and the New Orleans Pelicans. 

In the win over New Orleans, an unlikely hero stood out for the Pacers as center Ian Mahinmi led the charge with 17 points, ten rebounds, one assist, and four rejections. 

Forward C.J. Miles also shined for the Pacers tallying 15 points, seven rebounds, one steal, and one block coming off the bench. 

Franchise star forward Paul George added 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals in the win. 

The Pacers improved to 21-15 to sit on the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference standings, just five games behind the leading Cleveland Cavaliers (25-9) for the top spot. 

Indiana's opponent for today's game, the Rockets, are also on a two-game winning streak after beating the Utah Jazz in two consecutive games on the road and at home. 

In Houston's second win over the Jazz, All-Star guard James Harden exploded for 33 points, also tallying eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block. 

Following Harden was forward Terrence Jones who contributed 14 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. 

Reserves Marcus Thornton and Jason Terry added 12 points each to lead the bench for Houston. 

Despite the wins, the Rockets still find themselves stuck on the seventh place in the Western Conference standings for some time and are now currently holding an 18-19 record, also aiming to go .500 against the Pacers today.
