NFL Monday Night Football takes place tonight with the Indianapolis Colts and the Carolina Panthers clashing in what should be an interesting match up. The Panthers will be looking to claim a win to maintain their perfect start to the season so far, but the Colts will be desperate to gain a victory to move to .500. The game has a scheduled start time of 8.30 p.m. ET and takes place from the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through ESPN live stream via the link below.

The Panthers are currently enjoying their best ever start to a season in franchise history, and they won't things to end tonight against a talented but clearly underperforming Colts team.

If Carolina can win today they will move to 7-0 and force the Colts to suffer their third straight defeat for the first time since 2011.

Even though the Panthers have been hugely impressive so far this season, they remain surprisingly grounded and know there is a long way to go before they accomplish anything.

Tight end Greg Olson has said, "When you're 6-0 in the NFL, that's pretty good. It's a big deal to be 6-0, but obviously we're trying to get to 1-0 each week. Like we said last week, five wins isn't going to do anything; six wins isn't going to accomplish anything. We still have a lot of work to do."

Some skeptics have highlighted that the Panthers have still not defeated any team with a winning record during their 6-0 run, however, others point to the details, and wins against the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles remain impressive nonetheless, and they can only defeat the teams put in front of them each week.

Cam Newton has said, "We've been doing a pretty good job of maintaining our focus and understanding what we've accomplished so far. We're not satisfied with what we've done. Is it good? Yes, but at the same time we're still trying to conquer things that people said we couldn't do, and surprising ourselves at the same time."

The Colts have suffered a major problem in their defense this season and it has undermined a lot of the good work that they've done. They rank last in the NFL for average yards allowed per game through the first seven weeks of the season, giving up 408.6 total yards per game, as well as 24.9 points per game.

Indianapolis will have to tighten things up a lot tonight if they are even to make this a close contest. The Panthers are hungry for a seventh straight victory, and have the winning habit, so they will be extremely difficult to defeat.
