'Injustice 2' Fighter Pack 3 revealed, includes Enchantress, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Players of "Injustice 2" are now able to enjoy more characters.
Fans got to learn more about "Injustice 2's" next fighter pack installment when video game developer NetherRealm Studios revealed such through a trailer for the Fighter Pack 3 on Friday, Nov. 10.
The announcement was made during the "Injustice 2" Eleague World Championship, a competition wherein the best players in the world step up and test their mettle using the heroes and villains of DC Comics alongside some guest characters like Hellboy and a couple of memorable characters from "Mortal Kombat." Fans of the video game may also be able to pick up a few moves, combos, and finishing blows in mastering their favorite characters.
On Friday, it was revealed that Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be included in "Injustice 2's" Fighter Pack 3. They will join Atom, who became available starting Nov. 12, as well as Batman, Superman and other DC fighters. Other new characters will follow shortly after.
Many were surprised with the inclusion of the reptiles, as they do not normally appear in fighting video games. As pointed out by Kotaku, the last fighting game that featured Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo was "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters," an early 90s arcade game that eventually made it to consoles.
Prior to the announcement of Enchantress and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hellboy was the last character in the Fighter Pack to be introduced, and he is set to arrive on Nov. 14.
There has been a great deal of anticipation for the next Fighter Pack, especially after NetherRealm said that this would have one of the biggest surprises for "Injustice 2".
"Injustice 2" is the sequel to the 2013 hit "Injustice: Gods Among Us." It was launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back in May and will have a PC version that will drop on Nov. 14.
