"Injustice 2" will be adding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the next Fighter Pack.

"Injustice 2" has finally announced the new heroes that will be arriving with the game's Fighter Pack 3. The upcoming content will include the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" along with two DC heroes, Atom and the Enchantress.

A reveal trailer introducing the new heroes was released by the game's YouTube channel on Friday. In the video, Raiden is seen defeated and thrown on the ground. In the background, Black Manta is also shown defeated, and in the foreground is Hellboy who is still smoking a cigarette, which hints that he has also been defeated.

Then a woman in casual clothes is seen, as the hero Atom appears from an explosion. The woman then transforms into the Enchantress, and a battle between the two ensues. However, it is cut short when a sai flies into the scene and breaks the fight.

A trench coat-clad character appears, then reveals the red-masked Rafael. Behind him, his brothers Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo quickly appear.

While the trailer offers an exciting reveal of the characters, it did not provide and gameplay footage to give fans a glimpse of the new heroes' abilities. The addition of the new characters will push the roster of "Injustice 2" to 41 or 38 if the Ninja Turtles would be counted as one unit.

While it may be a bit weird seeing the Ninja Turtles fighting against DC heroes, they will not be the first non-DC heroes to be added to the game. "Mortal Kombat" characters Sub Zero and Raiden have been added in the previously released first and second Fighter packs, respectively. Hellboy, from Dark Horse comics, was the latest hero added in Fighter Pack 2.

It is also not the first time that the four mutant turtles have crossed into the DC universe. They have previously appeared with Batman in a 2015 mini-series. That series is set to have a sequel, which was announced by DC, Nickelodeon, and IDW Publishing earlier this year.
