It is not new for games to be re-released as a certain edition that includes other bonus content. That is especially for games with a lot of downloadable contents (DLCs) like "Injustice 2." True enough, almost a year after the game's release followed up by numerous DLCs, an "Injustice 2: Legendary Edition" has just been announced.

Alongside the base game, there are a lot of things that players can expect when they get this edition, including Fighter Packs 1, 2 and 3, Premiere Skins, a Learn Hub mode, new gear and even an increased level cap to level 30.

Fighter Pack 1 includes Red Hood, Starfire and Sub-Zero. Fighter Pack 2 features Black Manta, Raiden and Hellboy. Finally, Fighter Pack 3 gives players Atom, Enchantress and all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Premiere Skins featured are the Power Girl for Supergirl, John Stewart for Green Lantern, Reverse-Flash for, of course, Flash, Grid for Cyborg and Black Lightning for Raiden.

The Legendary Edition will also apparently include Darkseid. This bonus originally came as a preorder bonus for the game. The bonus mode, Learn Hub, is actually just an improved version of the tutorial mode. There will also be new gear given to all the characters in the game. When the player reaches the new level cap, 30, a new augmented slot will also be unlocked.

Those who are excited enough to get the Legendary Edition right away, its Day 1 Edition, will even get another bonus. The Day 1 Edition contains a collectible coin which is a "comic exclusive download steel card," a whopping 11,000 Source Crystals, and a steel case, per GameSpot.

"Injustice 2: Legendary Edition" will cost $60, which is $40 cheaper than the Ultimate Edition of the game last year during its launch but features almost the same bonuses.
