Those suggestions aren't necessarily farfetched, considering the fact that the developers are very much in tune with the fans' wishes. In an interview with Game Informer, game director Ed Boon expressed his love for introducing guest characters, hinting that there is a huge possibility they will be introducing crossover characters in the upcoming Injustice sequel.

"Scorpion in Injustice was the most downloaded of all the characters. There was a coolness and a novelty factor to seeing the mixing of the things. Alien and Predator in Mortal Kombat X were the most downloaded of those, so I would be surprised if we didn't do any of that," Boon told Game Informer.

Either way, it looks like fans of the game are in for a real treat once it hits the market. The texture and visuals of the game will be made more life-like and detailed, thanks to the inclusion of the "Mortal Kombat X" engine, Lazy Gamer reports. Combine that with some of DC's most-loved characters, "Injustice 2" could be starting strong.
