After the San Diego Comic-Con, Ed Boon, director of NetherRealm Studios, has confirmed that the upcoming "Injustice 2" game will have its very own mobile version. He even went so far as to say that it could be possible for the game to contain even more DC comic book characters.

According to Ecumenical News, Boon asked fans in a poll how they would prefer making the "Injustice 2" app. There were two options offered, with the first one saying that the game should be added to the first "Injustice" game and the second one saying that it should be a brand-new application. As most people expected, the second choice overwhelmingly prevailed with 71 percent of the approximately 7,700 voters wanting a brand-new app for the upcoming game.

Meanwhile, there are other rumors saying that the new "Injustice" game will have a compedium of supervillains to be released among other DC characters, such as Darkseid, Captain Boomerang and King Shark, to name a few. Furthermore, it is already guaranteed that Superman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Batman, the Flash and others will appear in the new game.

Also, fans are excited about the gear system to be added in the game. In an interview with Dual Pixels, Boon said that the system is basically a method of getting game pieces that will be used to upgrade their characters. This system's goal is to eventually lead the players to the best version of their characters.

"Injustice 2" is the sequel to the "Injustice: Gods Among Us" game and is developed by NetherRealm Studios. It will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One as well as the Android and iOS systems once it gets released sometime in 2017.
