|PIC1|Kingsway is set to release its new album of lullabies, Into Your Dreams: lullabies to end the day.

The album is a unique collection of specially commissioned songs, written and recorded by Cathy Burton, Marc James (Verra Cruz, Vineyard) and Andy Arganda (Soul Survivor), a perfect end to a little one’s day in a big, big world.

Musical arrangements range from lush strings to star-like guitar swells and sleep-tight vocals, while lyrical content is full of affirmation and Christ-centred messages.

Cathy’s reflections on the project are revealing.

“I just thought what would I say to my daughter last thing at night, when the stories are read and we've chatted about the day," she said.

"You never want them with any worries, just peace. So I thought I'd write about how to find peace - which is to take our worries and cares to God, our Father who cares for us.

“I also got to sing on Joanne Hogg's song; a prayer over your child as you watch over their sleep, that God would be part of their future and everything.

"I was really moved by the fragility of the ‘little ones’ and the awesome love that God has and gives us for them. It's a beautiful song and a great project.”

From the irresistible title track to the dream-like ‘The Father’s Love’ and the eternal goodness of ‘All Will Be Well’, the album is full of superb tracks that will send your little ones off to sleep reassured and tenderly tucked in.

Into Your Dreams is out on 12 January from Kingsway music.
