Introducing Franklyn

If Christian hip hop is your thing you might want to give emerging artist Franklyn a listen.

He might be just 17 but Franklyn has a gift for blending emotion with clever rhymes and slow mellow beats.

The London-born hip hop artist has just released a selection of songs under the title ‘Just Being Frank’, featuring the likes of Guvna B and Lola Godheld.

MOBO award winner Victizzle, Alfa Mist and The Confectionery have also had an input in the album, which deals with life and God.

Franklyn has become something of a regular on the urban music scene. He’s featured on the all-star remix of Cadet’s “Realise” single which was playlisted on BBC 1xtra; made a cameo in the official video which was playlisted on Channel AKA; and made a cameo appearance in Victizle’s “iSing” video which was featured on YouTube.

He has taken to the stage at various venues, including the indigO2, Black Grape and the Ocean in Hackney.

Keep your eye out for forthcoming performances, including a guest appearance with “Second Impression” at The Bull and Gate in London’s Kentish Town.
