Apple has recently released the public version of iOS 10, the company's biggest release so far. The free upgrade contains several great features and major updates that give more to its users.

One of the features that were improved int he iOS 10 is the iMessenger. Users can now use their own handwriting when they send out a message. It even arrives animated at the other end that makes it as though the person is writing it on the receiver's phone. iMessages now contains its own App Store, where users can order food and book flights. It can also directly play YouTube links that are part of the message. One can even enable a notification when the message that was sent has been read, as long as both parties have the latest version.

Siri also received an upgrade in the new operating system version. Apple's digital assistant is expected to be more functional than ever, that is if more apps will be able to integrate them. The company has shared the code for Siri to third-party developers so they can work flawlessly together, like book taxis and flights, as well as order food online. For now, the selection is still limited but is expected to grow in the future.

Apple Music has been improved as well. The Spotify rival is completely overhauled and now has a new interface. It now contains a smoother design and much easier to navigate compared to the previous version. Users can now see the lyrics of the song they are listening to, plus it now contains a search tab to make it easier to find that specific song.

The lock screen interface of the iOS was also tweaked. Users can now reply to messages, view photos and videos directly from the lock screen. There is no need to unlock it first. Its new "raise to wake" feature will instantly display all the notifications upon lifting the phone.

The features mentioned above are just some of the changes that came with the new version of the iOS.

Compatible devices for the new OS includes all models from the iPhone 5 to its most recent iteration, the iPhine 7, while the compatible tablet models include both the iPad Pros, both generations of the iPad Air, the iPad 4, the iPad mini 4,3,2 and the iPad touch 6th-gen.
