It has already been more than two months since iOS 10 landed on different devices. Apple is almost ready to release its version 10.2, and yet, the Pangu team has not released any jailbreak tool for the latest mobile operating system. The jailbreak community has not lost hope, yet, and many are hoping that the upcoming holiday would finally give them what all of them have been waiting for.

According to Value Walk, it is possible that the team could release the much-awaited tool this coming holiday season. Nothing is more exciting to an Apple/jailbreak fan than to receive such a perfect gift this Christmas.

On a more serious note, many jailbreak aficionados believe that a tool actually exists, and it is in the hands of none other than the Italian hacker known as Luca Todesco. He has shown this on his Twitter account, with the latest and even older versions of iOS 10, that it is possible to crack open the latest Apple operating system. Although, there are also individuals who are skeptical about his claims.

However, a previous report from iDigital Times suggests that Todesco is interested in creating a tool that he can share publicly. He is also finding a way to deliver a jailbreak tool via Safari, the built-in internet browser of Apple.

Others also suggest that these persons and groups involved in creating jailbreak tools are actually helping Apple fix their programs. It has been reported previously that instead of merely a pat on the back coming from the Cupertino-based tech giant, they will offer cash incentive under their bug bounty program. There also reports that Todesco and Pangu will team up in order to create the tool that many have been waiting for a time already.

Currently, there are no other players in the jailbreak scene except for Pangu and Todesco. If Pangu will not be able to deliver one this year, there is always another year for fans to be hopeful for.
