The jailbreak community now has all eyes on the Chinese team of programmers dubbed as Pangu as they are still attempting to crack open Apple's most secure operating system to date, the iOS 10. However, while jailbreak fans wait for the team's announcement, an equally skilled keylogger claims to have already broken through the OS' inner sanctum.

Hacker Lucas Todesco posted an image on Twitter of an iPhone that is believed to be installed with the elusive jailbreak tool for iOS 10.1.

Followers of the hacker then expressed their mixed sentiments regarding the milestone. Some netizens commended his achievement and added that such tool will be quite handy if it will be released to the public. However, some may have doused it and said that Apple will be the one to benefit the most from it as the company will be scrutinizing the tool to check where they went wrong.

Meanwhile, other jailbreak fanatics are suggesting that Todesco should team up with Pangu and assist the latter in cracking the new OS. Nonetheless, such scenario is quite far-fetched as it can be recalled that the solo keylogger claimed beforehand that he already had broken through to previous versions of the recently released iOS, but both hacking entities never sent out feelers that either one of them wanted to collude with the other.

For the uninitiated, Todesco has this whim of releasing jailbreak tools, though not dishing it out publicly. In addition, the hacker just sends a message that every system has a flaw and it's only a matter of time when someone finally discovers it.

Pangu, on the other hand, is believed to be preying on Apple's next update before they can make a move.
