With the official version already out, fans are expecting the iOS 10 jailbreak to come out soon. However, jailbreak teams are said to be waiting for a big update from Apple before coming out with a final jailbreak version.

This is highly likely since official updates from the Cupertino-based tech giant will likely make a working jailbreak version obsolete. Apple keeps on releasing updates for its recent iOS releases, as the company remains consistent in its aim to prevent all types of security breaches, as well as vulnerabilities, from showing up on their official platform versions. Just recently, Apple Insider reports that the development team has made some definitive changes in the interface for iOS 10.

Meanwhile, it is said that a working iOS 10 jailbreak is already waiting for release. However, jailbreak teams like Pangu are reportedly waiting for a major update from Apple to roll out first before finalizing its iOS 10 jailbreak version. Apple has yet to come out with a major patch for its new platform. To date, iOS 10's latest update only brings it to build 10.0.2.

According to Yibada, it is likely that Pangu and the other teams are waiting for iOS 10.1.0 to be released, before coming out with a jailbreak version. Admittedly, the jailbreak teams have learned from the previous iOS 9 releases. Prior to the latest iOS 9.0 jailbreak, Apple has immediately followed up its base iOS 9 version with major updates, bringing the platform build to iOS 9.2 and iOS 9.3 right after. This made early iOS 9 jailbreak versions subsequently obsolete.

As to when fans can expect the iOS 10 jailbreak, jailbreak teams have yet to come out with a specific date. However, since a working jailbreak version of the iOS 10 has already been spotted, it is expected that the jailbreak version will just undergo a few tweaks, but they will be immediately released after Apple announces iOS 10.1.
