iOS 10 beta was jailbroken after its release at the WWDC 2016 event, which certainly caused worry among some of the fans.

A person notorious in the jailbreaking community known by the handle name iH8snow posted a video which shows an iPhone 5 running the iOS 10 beta being jailbroken. He even said that the device was able to run Cydia without any problems. 

However, this jailbreaker isn't that willing to share his iOS 10 jailbreak to the general populace. As such, a lot of fans will just have to wait for a public (possibly paid) version to be developed, if ever. Regardless, with the iOS 10 beta jailbroken that easily, the implications are pretty severe. This means that Apple's main operating system has some security issues that make it vulnerable to jailbreaking.

Currently, the latest jailbreaking tool for iOS is the one made by the Pangu Chinese team, which was released October 2015. This tool is used for iOS 9.0 to 9.0.2, the OS version still widely used by most people for their devices. Actually, a few lucky users were able to upgrade to the iOS 9.1 by using a minor update from the same hacker group in March 2016.

One of the possible reasons for this easy security breach is that it could be possible that this operating system's Kernel is not encrypted, according to the University Herald. With this, it becomes much easier for Apple users to access the OS interior and manually break its security system, hence jailbreaking it. 

The rumored explanation for this, according to the same article, is that Apple deliberately made this "flaw" in order for them to get more bug reports from the software. After all, if this was true, it's unlikely that the company made an error in leaving it unencrypted, since this will open up a lot of vulnerabilities.

In any case, without any official statements, the purported security flaw might just be a rumor.
