iOS 10 is rumored to make its debut at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). According to Vine Report, the new iOS will be unveiled during the event and Apple will release a public beta version soon after. A full version of iOS 10 is expected to follow in the fall.

According to the report, this would make the final version of iOS 10 launch simultaneously with the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Every new iPhone model comes with a new build of iOS and it is highly possible that the full retail build of iOS 10 will be ready by the time the iPhone 7 releases this September.

iHelpBR reveals that some of the possible new features in iOS 10 may include the Dark Mode theme that is already available on OS X Yosemite. This will allow phone users to utilize a dark theme for the general UI and this stated to be easier on the eyes compared to the bright white theme that the iPhone and iPad currently use.

The report has posted concept photos of what Dark Mode on iOS 10 would look like although it is important to note that these are not official photos coming directly from Apple. It is undetermined if Apple is truly considering offering Dark Mode as a built-in feature for iOS 10.

MacRumors reveals that another possible feature is the ability to split the screen for multitasking. This has been applied to the iPad but iOS 10 may finally introduce this feature for the iPhone. There are no guarantees that this is indeed going to be included given that the iPhone has a much smaller screen in comparison.

Apple has yet to make any official announcement regarding iOS 10 and what features it may come with. No official release date has been announced but it is expected to make an appearance, at least for an official unveiling, at WWDC which will kick off on June 13.
