The iOS 8 Jailbreak from the Pangu team is pretty stable, according to Cydia developer Saurik. 

Pangu surprised many iOS-based device users when it released the iOS 8 Jailbreak last week to the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus as well as iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini, Retina iPad mini, and iPod touch 5G. 

Some people are preventing themselves from jailbreaking their devices because the jailbreak was slightly unstable at first as the jailbreak had issues with Cydia. Some users reported that jailbroken devices were unable to use the tweaks purchased on Cydia. Moreover, the app icons would not show, while others could not be installed. iTunes could not be synced and, sometimes, the device would freeze or hang. 

However, it seems that the bugs and issues of the jailbreak has been resolved. 

"If you are waiting to jailbreak your iOS 8.0-8.1 device until things are "stable enough": we now seem to be ready! ;P http://en.pangu.io," Cydia developer Saurik tweeted. 

This confirms the stability of the iOS 8 jailbreak and gives users a go signal to users to go ahead with jailbreaking their device. 

With this announcement, now is the perfect time to download and install the iOS 8 jailbreak as the jailbreak will be short-lived. Reports claim that the beta version of iOS 8.1.1 has been rolled out to developers and will probably be released to the public soon. The update will reportedly kill the iOS 8 jailbreak. 

"Apple has released iOS 8.1.1 beta to developers. After our tests, it has patched the jailbreak exploit. Anyone who wishes to jailbreak, please seize the chance to upgrade to iOS 8.1 and do so before Apple officially releases iOS 8.1.1," a member of the Pangu team posted on Chinese social media website Weibo. 

However, Apple has not commented on the iOS 8 jailbreak, especially with the news that the company is continuously trying to strengthen the security of its operating system.
