The new iOS 9.1 update is bringing a ton of new features for Apple users to try out.

The fix works by preventing the phone's camera to capture the image that first pops up the instant the feature is activated and it also prevents the camera from including the image that remains when the device is being brought down.

Apple is also offering users more control over their photos with the new update. Thanks to the iOS 9.1 update, users can now choose between automatically displaying thumbnail images for their contacts or if they want to keep those hidden.

Apple is also introducing a News app via the 9.1 update, and it will be bringing users content from several publications situated in Australia and the United Kingdom.

The iOS 9.1 update is also adding support for the Apple Pencil, although this figures to be a change that will be useful to only a few devices from the company.

The arrival of the latest update for Apple devices also brings with it new wallpapers for users to display. There will be four new options for users to choose from with those including images of Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, and also a desert, according to Forbes.
