According to Lawyer Herald, a specific release date for the iOS 9.2 jailbreak remains unconfirmed as development teams have once again delayed the roll-out of a jailbreak version of iOS 9.2.1.

The industry follower said that leading jailbreak teams PanGu and TaiG have decided to delay the release since a beta version of iOS 9.3 is already out, and the full version of the upcoming new iOS may already be forthcoming. Should the dev teams release the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak version, it will only be shadowed by the new iOS 9.3 version.

Meanwhile, since iOS 9.3 already has its beta out, Neuro Gadget said that the different teams have also started in jailbreaking the platform, although the jailbreak version if iOS 9.2.1 has yet to come out. Reportedly, PanGu and TaiG already have a working build of the iOS 9.3 jailbreak, taken from the different beta versions Apple previously rolled out. However, the development teams are waiting for the full version of the iOS 9.3 to come out before releasing the iOS 9.2 and 9.3 jailbreak versions together.

Having a jailbreak version of iOS 9.2 released together with iOS 9.3 may be unthinkable as the new version already renders the previous one obsolete. However, although the 9.3 jailbreak is the more current of the two, it is only based on a beta version, whereas the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak is based on the official full version of the iOS platform.
