iOS 9 beta release date: Seeded developers to get update on June 8?

Apple's iOS 8 update

Apple has already rolled out the iOS 8.3, and since build is already based on the fourth beta version, iOS fans are already gearing up for the launch of the first beta of iOS 9, with reports saying that the build would come to developers on the first week of June.

According to Yibada, June 8 could see the Beta 1 release of the upcoming iOS 9, to be seeded to developers. The new iOS will be the major update to the current iOS 8 version, and is expected to bring big changes to the user interface and tweaks in the operating system's design. Moreover, the announcement for the new iOS will come in a big event, in this year's Worldwide Developer Conference.

Considering previous moves by Apple, the June date announcement seems to be not far off the mark. The iOS 8 was announced in June last year, and the upcoming announcement for the iOS 9 in the middle of the year will have developers and beta testers give feedback for a stable build, before Apple would release the official iOS 9 for this year's flagship products that will come in the latter part of the year.

For the first beta, iOS 9 will again only be available to seeded developers to first kink out flaws, and interested parties would again gain membership via the AppleSeed program and by paying the subscription charges. And while developers will sort out the new iOS technically, the first build for developers is scheduled to be released in the summer, the public beta occurring before the fall release will also make sure that the new iOS 9 will be user-friendly enough.

Rumored features to be included on the new iOS 9 include free iCloud services for storage, interactive notifications, push services for network switches, and a more advanced Siri.
