Apple has already announced the coming of its new mobile platform, the iOS 9, at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference. Although there were no details or specific release dates, fans expect the new iOS to make its way to Apple devices before the end of the year. Aside from announcements about the iOS 9 and an upcoming update of OS X from Yosemite to El Capitan, Apple has not provided any hints as to what devices the company is planning to release that would maximize the new platforms.

Although there were no mentions of upcoming Apple gadgets, that has not stopped fans of the iconic brand from speculating and making guesses. The most recent rumors making their rounds online are focused on the possible hint hiding in Apple's iOS 9.

According to reports, a new feature coming on the iOS 9 would give users the freedom to choose from different keyboard designs. This feature seems simple as it is; however, developers digging deep into the preview version of the new platform found out that one of the keyboard designs is a large on-screen keyboard.

The developers who found out about it say that although iOS 9 is a multi-device platform, the new keyboard is still larger than the scale needed for the 9.7-inch display found on Apple's largest tablet. This seems to indicate that the keyboard is intended for a much larger display.

While the design is just a piece of software from a preview build and does not confirm anything, most fans agree that this could be one of the indications that Apple is indeed developing a larger-sized tablet to be dubbed the iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro is reported to sport a 12.9-inch display and added high-end specs such as the Force Touch technology and Touch ID. It is also said that the upcoming new tablet will adapt the USB-C connection Apple introduced in the new Macbook.
