The attention of Apple aficionados now turn from the imminent release of the iOS 8.2 to the makings of the iOS 9. Google Analytics of the Czech tech site letemsvetemapplem revealed that Apple is already moving ahead for the next upgrade to its operating system. The analytics showed three separate visits to the aforementioned site on Jan. 5, Jan. 10 and Jan. 13. Forbes finds this logical as the iOS 9 should be showing up by July or August, following Apple's release pattern.

Apple Insider, on the other hand, has collected traffic data where visits from devices that seem to be running early builds of iOS 9 gradually increased over the last month. The site also added that the traffic was at its uppermost last week and it only continues to swell.

Apple has yet to corroborate on the leaks that Google shared, and Forbes speculates that Apple may just be messing with the search engine giant by using phony iOS 9-laden devices. However, the site believes that it is more productive to work on the operating system rather than pull off some prank as the Worldwide Developers Conference, where the iOS 9 is expected to be unveiled, is zeroing in.

Apple may be on the move for the operating system but details about it are rather scarce. Apple Insider expects the Cupertino-based company to make some improvements on its Maps service, with HopStop and Embark already on their grasp. An enhancement in its indoor navigation technology could also transpire now that WifiSLAM has been acquired by the titanic tech firm already. Lastly, there is hope that Siri will cross to third-party apps while the NFC chip inside of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus could be made accessible to developers for it to be compatible with other services. The chip is only exclusively used to power Apple Pay.

Apple Insider reports that June 8 and 12 are already reserved for an event at Moscone Center in San Francisco. This event may be the Worldwide Developers Conference.
