iPad Mini 4 release date: Will the Mini 4 be Apple's last?

Will the iPad Mini be the next casualty as far as Apple's line of products is concerned?

If this report  were authentic, then the iPad Mini could soon be a thing of the past with reports that the company intends to place more focus on its standard and larger iPads.

Even though this bit of news could be alarming for folks who have come to like the iPad Mini due to its smaller and easier-to-carry mold, it should be noted that this is not official.

More so, there is a question of accuracy in the air considering that this is not the first time the said source has come up with inaccurate information, including the one about Apple working on a 3D display.

Although Apple is reportedly hard at work with an alleged new and larger iPad, which could debut later this year, it remains to be seen if killing off the iPad Mini will prosper.

Aside from the expected revelation of the iPad, the iPad Air is another tablet that many are awaiting. However it seems that the iPad Air will most likely be pushed to 2016.

It will be recalled that the previous iPad Mini didn't exactly create a stir in the market, seeing that it hardly carried new features and yet was priced higher.

Hence, it remains to be seen if Apple did take that angle into consideration and on whether its successor, the iPad Mini 4 will indeed make up for the shortcomings of the previous iPad Mini.

As far as rumors are concerned, it could all depend on how the iPad Mini 4 performs. If the upcoming iPad Mini 4, which is believed to be coming out this October, flops; then these rumors could be something worth considering.

The iPad Mini 4 is rumored to be debuting alongside the iPad Pro this October so let us see what enhancements the said tablet can bring to win back the hearts of disappointed Apple users.
