iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3: Up to 60 percent discount in latest deals

iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3

Apple's latest tablets, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3, still dominate the market and with lack of proper competition, consumers are still opting to buy the slates. Undoubtedly, Apple's main goal is to boost the sales of the new iPads even further, and one way to do this is to give out discounts.

Below are only some of the deals on the iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.

One of the biggest discounts spotted on the entry-level 16 GB iPad Air 2 is on eBay where the tablet costs $389, which is an incredible deal for consumers. The seller named digjungle has a positive feedback of 99.3 percent. 209 units of the tablet are already sold.

Various offerings on Amazon are also spotted, giving out discounts on both Apple tablets to interested buyers. The discounts range from 30 to 60 percent. The following are prices listed on Amazon as well as the links to the webpages:

  • 16 GB Silver Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 – $439.88
  • 16 GB Space Gray Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 - $452.99
  • 16 GB Gold Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 - $439
  • 16 GB Silver Wi-Fi iPad mini 3 - $359.99
  • 16 GB Space Gray Wi-Fi iPad mini 3 - $349
  • 16 GB Gold Wi-Fi iPad mini 3 - $369

iPad deals are also spotted in Best Buy. However, the discount is for the units in open box. Some units used for displays are sold for a lesser price.

Meanwhile, U.S. carrier Sprint is leasing the iPhone 6 and iPad mini 3 for only $100 per month. This particular deal combines the iPhone and iPad for Life and will run until April 9. The lease includes a $20 monthly payment for the iPhone 6, $50 for the Sprint Simply Unlimited plan, and $30 for the 2 GB data plan for the iPad mini 3, which is thrown in for free.

This is not the first time that iPad tablets are being offered at generous discounts. Deals were seen here and there not so long ago. Last quarter, Apple offered great deals to spike up the dwindling sales of the tablets.
