The iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 5 were not launched during Apple's March event, which sparked various rumors about its true launch date. Various speculations point out that the most likely dates for these iPads to be released are in June or with the iPhone 7 in September.

According to iTech Post, it could be that iPad Air 3 is the last of its product line, since it's highly likely for Apple to start focusing on the iPad Pro instead. Regardless, in the same report, the iPad Air 3 could feature four speakers, a 3D touchscreen similar to the iPad Pro, and an A10 processor. Also, this device is rumored to be 6.1mm thick.

As for the iPad Mini 5, its design will certainly be slimmer compared to its older versions at 5mm thickness, according to PC Advisor. Additionally, this device will have a more premium look compared to iPad Mini 4, since it will have a 7000-Series aluminum chassis, which extends it durability while augmenting its look. Apple fans should also expect this device to be introduced with a Rose Gold color option as it has done for the majority of its hardware lineup.

Other features for the iPad Mini 5 will include the iOS 10, same as the iPad Air 3 and the latest iPhones, as well as an Apple Pencil -- basically a stylus. As for its processor, it's expected to have an A9 at least. As for its battery life, this device will more likely feature a battery that will fit its 5mm frame, but with recent improvements in technology, rest assured this won't make a negative impact on performance.
