iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina discounts available now amid new iPad sales

Apple finally unveiled the new generation of iPad Air and iPad Mini. Pre-orders for new iPads opened a day after the press event and buyers flocked the Apple Store to place their orders. The tablets are also available in retailers and carriers.

With the release of the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, the previous models are now being offered at great discounts. Last year's iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display are now around $100 to $200 less expensive.

In Best Buy, Apple devices are offered for less. The Wi-Fi only model of the 64 GB (Space Gray and Silver) iPad Air is offered for $499, which is $100 off its original price. Meanwhile, the 128 GB (Space Gray and Silver) variants cost $699, which knocks off $200 off the price of the tablet.

The electronics retailer also offers Wi-Fi and Cellular model of the 64 GB (Space Gray and Silver) iPad Air from Verizon for $629, which is $200 less than its original price, while the 128 GB (Silver) is available for $829.99, which is $100 less. Meanwhile the 128 GB (Space Gray and Silver) is available for $829.99.

Adorama and B&H Photo offer the Wi-Fi + Cellular 64 GB iPad Air from AT&T for $599. B&H Photo offers the 128 GB (Space Gray) from Verizon for $729, which is $200 less than the original price.

The second generation of iPad Mini that packs a Retina display are also on sale. Best Buy offers the Wi-Fi only 64 GB (Space Gray and Silver) of iPad Mini 2 for $399, which slashes $200 off the regular price. Meanwhile, the 128 GB (Space Gray and Silver) costs $499.

On the other hand, the retailer offers the Wi-Fi and Cellular variant of the 64 GB (Space Gray and Silver) iPad Mini 2 from AT&T for $529.99, which is $200 less than the regular price.

Amazon and Adorama offer the 128 GB (Space Gray and Silver) Wi-Fi and Cellular variant of iPad Mini 2 for $629.
