Nearly any gadget with the name Apple attached to it routinely draws a lot of attention from the tech community, and the iPad Mini 4 is no exception.

Before making any impulse buys, however, it's worth taking a closer look to see exactly what the iPad Mini 4 has to offer.

Starting off with the hardware of the newly released Apple tablet, the iPad Mini 4 comes equipped with the 64 bit A8 processor and that is then paired up with the M8 motion coprocessor to help the device capably perform up to its usually lofty expectations.

The iPad Mini 4 also features 2 GB of RAM, GSM Arena reported.

In terms of internal storage options, people can choose from three different sizes, with the smallest offering at 16 GB, the one above that at 64 GB, and the biggest option providing 128GB.

The iPad Mini 4 also features a 7.9-inch LED multi-touch display, hence its mini moniker.

Moving onto the cameras of the new Apple tablet, the iPad Mini 4 has an 8-megapixel iSight camera at the back that also provides users with autofocus feature. Up front, the iPad Mini 4 has a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera. Both cameras come with burst and timer modes, as well as exposure control and improved face detection.

As for the other features that people can look for in the iPad Mini 4, the new Apple tablet features Touch ID. Touch ID allows users to gain easy and secure access to the iPad Mini 4 itself, and people can even make quick purchases via this feature.

There will also be other sensors found in the iPad Mini 4 aside from the Touch ID, according to Apple. These other sensors include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a barometer, and three-axis gyro.

Siri 6 is also found in the iPad Mini 4. The improved Siri allows users to easily send messages and even access their tablet hands-free, among other helpful innovations.
