The alleged specs and features of the iPad Pro was spotted online. An image of an Apple tablet, purported to be the bigger version of the iPad, appeared in Chinese social media site Weibo.

The leak shows that the alleged iPad Pro, also dubbed as iPad Plus, has a design similar to the latest iPad Air 2. The tablet features a 12-inch screen panel with 2K resolution. Despite its massive screen display, it is speculated to be thinner with a profile of only 7 mm and more lightweight at only 700 grams.

However, the photo shows that the tablet has bigger bezels, which is the same as previous iPad models. There are also four speaker grilles placed on each corner of the device. One of the surprising features of the tablet is its battery capacity clocking at 11,000 mAh, which is a big jump from the iPad Air 2's 7340 mAh battery. A large battery means longer usage of the device. However, the source did not mention the launch date and price of the massive tablet.

Previous reports speculated on other possible features of the iPad Plus. The tablet is predicted to come with A8X or A9 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM, iOS 9, 8-megapixel rear camera, and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Just like the iPad Air 2, the tablet is said to have 16 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB internal storage variants. Furthermore, the tablet is rumored to pack a TouchID fingerprint sensor and a stylus, which the late Steve Jobs did not approve of.

Meanwhile, the iPad Pro is predicted to be a tablet-laptop hybrid as the market seems to prefer dual devices. There are also speculations that it will be launched in spring or in the second quarter of 2015.

However, Apple still has not confirmed the existence of the iPad Pro or iPad Plus, much less its features and release date.
