With rumors hinting that there will be no more iPad Pro releases in 2016, speculations are rife that the latest line of iPad pro models will come out in March 2017.

According to a report by MacWorld, there is a strong probability that the iPad Pro 2 will be using the A10X, the latest iteration of the A10 processor being used by the Cupertino based company's latest releases, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

The update will reportedly use a smaller FinFET technology. If this materializes, this will translate to a faster and more efficient performance. This effectively put a wrench on speculations that the iPad Pro 2 will come out this year.

There are also updates to be expected in terms of multimedia features as early rumors hint at 4K (3840x2160) recording capabilities which could put it at par with AMD and Nvidia graphics card outputs.

Meanwhile, Apple Insider has leaked two photos that appear to be the iPad Pro 2. The photos reportedly came from an anonymous source believed to be an employee from the Asian manufacturer.

The photos — which have already been taken down — showed displays that are consistent with Apple's general setting app. It also showed that the photo in question was a model MH1C2CD/F, a code that is yet to be assigned to iPads that are yet to be released.

It runs on iOS 10, as attested by Siri's tab on top of the settings app which is supposed to be in its normal place as a sub-category within General settings.

Meanwhile, among the wishlist of Apple fans are a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 mp front camera.

Fans also want 4K video recording, live recordings, True Tone display and wide color, a 32 GB cellular buying option, and  a pink color option.

However, without an official announcement from Apple, these will remain speculation for the time being.
