Apple will be hosting their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in California this June. It is expected that during the event, the tech giant will present the successor of the iPad Pro.

Usually, Apple only presents their new iOS during WWDC, but this year they may unveil the new iPad Pro 2 as well. This comes after 9to5Mac reported that Urban Armor Gear, a case manufacturer, is set to release cases for a 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The current available sizes for the iPad Pro are 12.9 inches and 9.7 inches. These cases will be released in June, so the reveal of the iPad Pro 2 at WWDC 2017 becomes more likely.

Not much has been revealed about the specs of the iPad Pro 2 apart from its size. The 10.5-inch display of the new iPad Pro is expected to come with smaller bezels than any of the iPads revealed in the past. This will mean that the screen will nearly reach the edges of the iPad. If this is true, then another possibility for the iPad Pro 2 would be letting go of the home button and replacing it with a finger scanner that will be placed underneath the screen.

Another source says that the iPad Pro 2 will come with a Touch Bar. The Touch Bar was released as part of the latest MacBook Pro and has become a favorite for Apple users, so implementing it on the new iPad Pro will grab the attention of potential buyers.

When the first iPad Pro was released two years ago, the 12.9-inch 32 GB model was priced at $900, while the ones with larger storage were priced over $1000. The iPad Pro 2's price will most likely be around the same range.

Apple fans may just need to wait until the WWDC event that will happen from June 5 to June 9 to find out more about the latest iPad Pro.
