After Apple's two media events that happened in September and October, no iPad Pro 2 surfaced. It is now speculated that the second generation of the most powerful tablet will be in the spotlight by March 2017 with three models.

The tech community is speculating that the iPad Pro 2 will contain several improved features. These include better cameras compared to the current 12 MP and 5 MP and an upgraded display screen equipped with the True Tone technology, which the small version has. It is also rumored that the tech giant will incorporate OLED screens. A revised stylus, also known as the Apple Pencil, is also expected to receive an upgrade, as well an enhanced support for optional accessories, PC Advisor reports.

Previously, it was also rumored that an "in-between" model will come out once the second generation of the tablet is introduced. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the famed analyst from KGI Securities for dead-on predictions for Apple products, the Cupertino-based tech giant will still manufacture the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch Pro models, but the company will also offer a 10.5-inch Pro variant. The smallest screen model will then be turned into an entry-level model for the series and could be equipped with a slower-speed processor, like the A9X processor. The other two models could contain the A10X chip.

Kuo said that the mid-size model will be targeting the education and business area of the populace. He also added: "If the iPad comes in a larger size, such as a 10.5-inch model, we believe it will be helpful to bid for tenders within the commercial and education markets. As a result, we expect Apple to launch a 10.5-inch iPad Pro in 2017.

Other rumors suggest that the next tablet will be lighter and thinner than its predecessor. It is also expected to arrive with a price tag of $800 for the 12,9-inch model, $700 for the 10.5-inch variant, and $600 for the 9.7-inch one.

A pink colored iPad Pro 2 tablet is also rumored to arrive in March 2017.
