Apple is allegedly developing the second generation of its most powerful tablet. The iPad Pro 2 is highly speculated to offer three variants this time, and it could be up and running in March next year.

Aside from the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch Pro 2 tablets, it is rumored that an in-between, 10.5-inch model will also be announced. This is said to attract customers that find the current screen size either too big or too small.

Since the original iPad Pro is the most powerful tablet in the product lineup of Apple, the second generation is expected to be as well. Tech heads are expecting that the big screen models will be powered by the A10X processor, while the smallest one of the three will still carry the previous A9X chipset, FX Newscall reported.

Additionally, the iPad Pro 2 models will reportedly include four speakers, True Tone display, and an upgraded Apple Pencil. It could also feature some water and dust resistance and 10 hours of battery life. Also, it may or may not have the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Other news also suggests a different screen size configuration. It will be the 12.9-inch that will be retained, and the company will create a 10.5-inch and a 7.9-inch model. The smallest screen will be called iPad Mini Pro.

Meanwhile, Apple announced a media event that will take place on Oct. 27, with a tag line of "hello again." The new tablets are not expected to appear on this event, but the company can still surprise its fans. It is speculated that the tech giant will unleash a series of new Macs that includes laptops and desktops. These includes the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and iMac desktops. It is also rumored that Mac mini desktops and Mac Pro desktops will also be announced.

It is also speculated that an external 5K display will also be in the limelight, that boast of a 5120 x 2880 resolution. An internal GPU is rumored to be included, one that can boost low-powered Macs to attain the achievable display property.

The event will be streamed starting at 10 a.m PDT.
