New Apple iPad Pro concept image packs 10 killer features

The latest iPad Pro concept packed 10 killer features for its imminent release date in the fall.

Apple's purported 12-inch tablet was rumored to arrive later this year. However, with the recent rumors about iPad Air 2 and the third generation of iPad Mini, the iPad Pro has been overshadowed and the reports about it quieted down.

The new iPad Pro concept image was created by designer Vishal Bhanushali and packs a slightly smaller Retina screen display that is 11.3 inches in size with 2700 x 2025 pixel resolution. The tablet will also pack a "Pro" version of the upcoming iOS 8, if there is such thing. With the aid of the new software, the tablet will boast a multi-screen function where users can run two apps simultaneously on the same page. Bhanushali also packed an Air Dock for wireless charging.

iPad Pro also boasts different type of accessories. The concept image comes with a special type of cover that enables users to view the notifications without the need to open the device. This accessory is similar to HTC One M8's Dot View cover.

Other killer features of the tablet are: 2 GB or 3 GB RAM, a 64-bit or octa core processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, overhauled Siri, and better camera and battery. According to the grapevine, the iPad Pro will come in two variants with two different screen resolutions – 2K and 4K display. Also, there were talks that the tablet's bezels may be hypersensitive as the tablet was rumored to pack pressure sensors to replace the physical home button in previous iPads.

Although rumors said that the iPad Pro release date will happen in October, there were reports that cited reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo saying that the launch of the tablet will be delayed due to the line up of devices scheduled for release. The Cupertino-based company has not responded to the rumors going around about its devices. The company also has not revealed any official specs and features of the alleged iPad Pro.
