iPad Pro release date may be coming soon as a photo of the massive tablet emerged online.

A model of what is claimed to be an industrial prototype of the alleged 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet surfaced and give the waiting Apple fans a preview of what the larger tablet might look like. Nowhereelse.fr cited Chinese website Weibo, which got hold of the aluminum slab. The purported industrial model is said to be used as reference for making cases and accessories for the device.

Based on the leaked photos, the prototype is wider compared to the 10.9 inch iPad Air. This suggested that the new device may have a larger screen display. Moreover, the model also has an Apple logo and a rear camera cutout.

However, it is hard to determine the exact size of the device based on the leaked photos. Moreover, it is unknown if the alleged "prototype" is based on the specifications of Apple as it was reported that iPad Pro release date may happen in 2015, although Apple has not confirmed this release date.

It was initially speculated that the iPad Pro will replace the MacBook Air line since it will have a larger screen display. However, latest rumors claimed that Apple will unveil a new MacBook Air with Retina Display next month at the Worldwide Developers' Conference alongside iOS 8 and OS X 10.9.

The Cupertino-based company has not responded to the rumors going around about its devices. The company also has not revealed that official specs and features of the alleged iPad Pro. However, grapevine said that the iPad Pro will come in two variants with two different screen resolutions – 2K and 4K display. Also, the tablet's bezels may be hypersensitive as the tablet was rumored to pack pressure sensors to replace the physical home button in previous iPads.
