iPhone 6, iPhone 5S release date set for summer; features and specs rumors latest [VIDEO]

The iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S will likely have release dates through the autumn and summer respectively, according to latest rumors surround Apple's next generation smartphones.

The iPhone 5S is rumored to be in line for release first, with the likely date for orders to start from being June 20, 2013. That means the shipping date is likely to be sometime in early July.

The specs on both devices are likely to be very impressive, and one of the most certain rumors is that both iPhones will incorporate fingerprint detection security measures.

The fingerprint security rumor appears to be more certain than many other rumors circulating as Apple recently acquired a company called AuthenTec for $356 million.
It is believed that Apple will role out the technology through this acquisition.

However, some other rumors have stated that the development of this technology to Apple's super high standards has delayed the release dates of the devices.

In other rumors surrounding the devices, Apple is expected to roll out the iOS 7 with the devices, and both are expected to have a faster processor than the current iPhone 5.

Other rumored features include an improved retina display, NFC support, 4G, and 802.11ac wireless networking.

A particularly interesting rumor has surrounded Apple releasing a budget version iPhone for the more economically conscious. It has been rumored that Apple wants to delve into the lower end of the smartphone market and give millions of smartphone users who are priced out of having the iPhone the opportunity to own a new slightly less feature-heavy iPhone.

If all the rumors are proven true then there could be three variants of the iPhone set for release – the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Mini, and the iPhone 6 XL – to compete with the larger screen devices, such as Samsung's Galaxy S4 which has a significantly larger screen than the current iPhone 5.
