iPhone 6 release date in August as leaked photos show alleged variants of smartphone

iPhone 6 release date is reported to take place in September, but photos of the alleged variants of the smartphone emerged online.

Alleged photos of the two variants of the long rumored iPhone 6 made the rounds in Twitter. The images show the purported 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches models of the device. The photo came from reliable tipster Sonny Dickson and was posted on his Twitter account.

Sonny Dickson is considered as a credible source as he accurately posted the photos of the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display. The new photos of the iPhone 6 fall right into the rumors. The handset showed the devices with ultra-slim waistline and design language that resembles that of iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retinadisplay.

In comparison with the current iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, the two iPhone 6 variants showed its power/lock key move from top of the device to its right side in order to accommodate the larger display. The LED flash of the back camera also sports a different design compared to the current iPhone 6 smartphone.

It has been long rumored that iPhone 6 will come in two variants - one with 4.7 inches screen display, which will be announced in September, and another model with 5.5 inch screen panel rumored to be released a month later than the 4.7 inch smartphone. The smartphone with larger display is the phablet version of the company's iPhone. The iPhone 6 smartphone was rumored to pack A8 processor, iOS 8, improved TouchID fingerprint sensor, etc. Also, the smartphone is rumored to include are NFC, LTE, and wireless charging feature.

iPhone 6 release date is reported to happen in the fall or in September. However, there were reports that the smartphone will be released earlier, most probably this summer. However, Apple has not released any information about its devices and its timeline.
